I haven't practiced using the t-bar lift yet. I have learned to brake safely. The last step in the Kinderland. We start on the steep magic carpet in the Kinderland. Here we learn how to slow down and turn safely. After the 1st or 2nd day of the course, we switch to the drag lift on the piste. I can already snowplow safely, have learned to brake and make simple turns.

How do I book my course?

Book all your group and private courses conveniently online at www.skischule-brandnertal.at.
Bookings are possible up to one day before the course begins (depending on availability). After successful booking, you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your spam folder!
With this confirmation, you can go directly to the meeting point and check in with the ski instructor – no need to visit the office.

All about group lessons

Our group lessons are designed as week-long courses from Monday to Friday including a ski race on Friday.
Quality rather than quantity: group sizes are limited. This improves learning progress and reduces waiting times (exception: February 16 to 27, 2026)
If you wish to extend the lesson, you can do so directly online or in our offices – the cost is € 40,00 per day and person.
Entry into group lessons during the week is only possible after individual consultation on the day before the course.
Leading by example: all our ski instructors wear a helmet outside the Kinderland.

Course procedure

Please arrive about 10 minutes before the course starts at the meeting point.
On the first day (Monday), groups are divided according to skill level.
Don't forget to give your children a small snack or some change for snacks.
The ski pass for the Bergbahnen Brandnertal is not included in the ski course ticket. For courses in the Kinderland in Brand & Bürserberg, no ski pass is needed. Once the children move to the slopes during the week, they will need a ski pass. Please check with your ski instructor after the daily course ends.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations up to 14 days before the course begins: 80% refund.
No refund for cancellations after this period.
No refund for ski lift cancellations.
Please consider arranging travel cancellation insurance.
Minimum group size for group courses: 3 persons.
