I am at minimum 5 years old and have already learnt to follow another person on a blue (easy) run using snowplough turns. I have already learnt how to brake safely and get back up on my skis unaided (in doubt please choose Level 1 - Beginner). We start at Dorfbahn Bergstation on a blue (easy) run, where we practise skiing together as a group without poles. We will initially stay on blue runs – depending on your progress, we will expand our skills to include red (intermediate) runs. The ski course is designed as a week-long course from Monday to Friday: our aim after 5 days of lessons is to be able to move around the ski area safely and ski confidently on blue and, later, red runs.
We keep groups as small as possible (4–8 people) so that you receive optimal attention from your instructor. Choose from two course beginnings: Start your lessons at 09:00 to benefit from the best slope conditions and avoid queues at the ski lifts. Or start at 11:30 to get a cheaper lift pass from Bergbahnen Brandnertal and avoid crowded huts at lunchtime. For a successful start to your lessons, we recommend Schnupperkurs on Sundayafternoon. On Friday, we organize a ski race that takes place right at the Dorfbahn mountain station during course hours – so pedestrians can also come and watch the race with ease. Your instructor will inform you of your exact start time at the start of the course on race day. Every race participant receives a winner’s medal after the ski race. NEW: With the Premium Guest Card, the uphill journey on the Dorfbahn is free for pedestrians.
From December 27 to January 7, group classes can be started on Sunday or Monday and run until Thursday – there will be no group classes on January 1st.
