The Rookie class starts right on the blue (easy) slope at the Dorfbahn summit station, where we’ll start by learning how to ski together as a group without ski poles. (Important: check needed skills!) We’ll first stick to the blue slopes—depending on how fast we learn, we’ll move up to the red (intermediate) slopes. The ski course is designed as a week-long course from Monday to Friday: our goal after 5 days of lessons is to be able to navigate the ski area safely and ski confidently on blue and, later, red runs. On the last day of the course, we will hold a ski race at the Dorfbahn summit station during regular class hours. This way, spectators can easily come watch the race. Every racer receives a winner’s medal after the race.
Choose from two course times: Start at 9:00 AM to take advantage of the best slope conditions and avoid wait times at the ski lifts. Or start at 11:30 AM to get a discounted lift ticket from the Brandnertal Mountain Railways and avoid crowded huts during lunchtime. For your smooth start to the week, we recommend the Schnupperkurs on Sunday!
We keep our groups small (4–8 people) so you get optimal attention from your instructor.
From December 27 to January 7, all group courses take place from Sunday to Thursday—there is no group course on New Year’s Day (January 1).
